Set in the heart of the city this apartment was meant to act as a warm cocoon for the clients. The goal was to make this home a personal sanctuary for them to return and relax at the end of long working days where they could also host their loved ones.
Design Brief
A small cozy residence that was wrapped in calming hues and simplistic layouts to make it appear spacious and welcoming. Well synchronized color schemes was chosen for the different rooms of this house. The foyer flows into the formal living room that further connects to the family living and dining room in an indirect manner. While the formal living has an elegant layout with neutral colors, the oomph of warm tones in the family living makes it look homier. A transparent partition separates both the living rooms but connects them visually. Accessories like musical instruments that are truly fond by the clients were tied to the design to make it as personalized as possible.
Out of the three bedrooms in this residence, one was solely dedicated as a reading space that would also occasionally host guests. The reading nook was designed elaborately for the clients’ leisurely hours with bright colors and plants around it. The other two bedrooms are however designed very subtly with a minimal furniture layout to keep it strictly functional.
