Context
House, the only place of comfort to every people. A little well-decorated house removes all the fatigue and exhaustion from the mind and body. Hazi T Ali Villa’s interior was decorated considering this fact. Minimalism simple spaces with simple expressions were the key theme of the project. Before designing the project, the client gave us some limitations that the entire interior space should be designed according to their existing furniture as if the design must have a similarity between old and new furniture.
Design Brief
At the entrance of the house, in the foyer area, there is a shoe rack that is attached to a sitting space. One can easily sit and change shoes in a relaxed mood. As well as small green plants in the clay container are also visible in the foyer area with a picture frame that helps to ease the feelings of exhaustion.
Besides the foyer area is the living and dining room, which is separated by a beautiful decorated folding door. The use of a folding door is that one can keep the door folded at one side in the point of interest, as both dining and living space combines into a single wide space. While the door can also be unfolded and kept closed, as the dining and living space is separated into two. The chocolate walnut lacquer polish over wooden fiber gives the furniture an antique look Besides the bamboo chick blinds in the family living space also adds the environment a classical touch.
