Reviving the long-lost beauty of the most glorious past of the city and give the present city dwellers a peaceful environment was the main objective where we began our journey to build Jamal Khan Shopno Uddyan.
Design Brief
The boundary wall of the city’s Khastagir Girls School which was messed up for years has been decorated with terracotta by enhancing the Anti- British Movement, 1952 Language Movement, Liberation War, and so on…
Alongside footpaths, there have been placed green shrubs & bushes including seating arrangements for the school students, as well as guardians & ordinary pedestrians, which will give much more acceptability of the area. The entire Jamal Khan area has become a place where people can gather and gossip together with a charming green environment It is said that “For in the true nature of things if we rightly consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of gold and silver.
