Located within the vibrant urban nexus of Bohoddarhat, Chattogram, the Ammajan Panjabi & Sherwani Showroom responds to the energetic commercial rhythm of the city. As a brand centered on rich ethnic menswear and ceremonial attire, the context required a spatial identity that distinctively anchors itself within a high-density retail hub. The objective was to bridge traditional craftsmanship with contemporary retail design, creating a refined sanctuary where patrons can engage with the brand away from the bustle of the street.
Design Brief
Team Vector Plinth conceived the showroom as a meticulous example of experiential architecture, engineered to transform routine shopping into an immersive sensory experience. The spatial layout is structured around an intuitive circulation path, establishing a clear visual hierarchy between everyday Panjabi collections and heavy, ornate Sherwanis. Strategic accent lighting is tailored to bring out the intricate textures, weaves, and embellishments of the garments, while custom joinery and a warm, sophisticated material palette define the interior. Complete with comfortable private fitting lounges and seamless display modules, the space balances high retail efficiency with an elevated atmosphere of understated luxury.
