The site is located in Cox’s Bazar. The office set in the upper floor ensures panoramic view of the surrounding and gives it visible access to both ocean and the greeneries. The office is the sole zonal distributor of the companies MI (multinational electronics company) and NAGAD (Bangladeshi digital financial service) in the district.
Concept and Design Brief
The office is mainly designed as a distributor house. There are two very distinctive wings of business run via this company, which required the zoning to be separate as well. The zoning layout is designed to suit both the business typologies and the circulation is arranged in chorus with the sequential series of activities of a client. Separate working, monitoring and transaction spaces are allocated for both the wings. There is also an executive room for the CEO and a common lounge for employees. The executive room however is made intentionally like a glass box without solid enclosures to keep transparency in visual connection between the employees and the superior officials. Stone chips for the entrance wall, bright contrasting colors like yellow and blue are used to bring textures and vibrancy in the spaces. A wall full of motivational words has also been incorporated in the lounge area to keep up the good spirit among the team. The lounge area also faces a wide glass facade that allows the staffs to appreciate the panoramic view of the site.
