Designing the interior for Khadi Ghar required a thoughtful synthesis between celebrating this artisanal legacy and addressing the practical demands of a modern retail boutique. Located within a compact urban footprint, the context called for a warm, inviting atmosphere that honours the tactile identity of traditional textiles while carving out a distinct visual presence for the brand.
Design Brief
The primary objective was to maximize a constrained retail layout into a fluid, highly functional shopping environment. The space is compactly planned, yet maintains easy, intuitive circulation throughout the shop, allowing customers to move and browse effortlessly. Through tailored display units, warm material palettes, and focused accent lighting that highlights fabric textures, the design eliminates visual clutter while prioritizing product visibility. The result is a balanced retail interior where space efficiency meets seamless spatial movement, creating an engaging, sensory store experience.
